Ishizuka Corporation is a trading company engaged in the export of Japanese products. Purchasing at the source and exporting is the axis of our work, and around it we take on everything from making the goods to building what it takes to sell them overseas.
About us
The origins of Ishizuka Corporation
The family were fishermen by trade. Our founder left the household to become a merchant and took up whatever business he could, and that is where this company begins. One of those ventures found its footing around 1960, in metalworking, as Japan's postwar boom lifted the motor industry. From that base he widened the business into woodwork, beekeeping and farming, making and selling in equal measure.
The second generation carried the business through the years that followed, and the third has now taken it on. The trading division was established to bring that founding spirit back into our own hands, and it carries the name the family has traded under from the beginning.

Returning the value of the Japanese name to its regions
Across Southeast Asia, the Japanese name is already established, and yet most of the value it creates goes to those who have moved faster in production and in trade. That is the concern our export business is built around.
Matcha is our principal product today, and we handle it from purchase in the producing region through to the shop floor overseas. Vietnam is our first market, where we are opening a directly operated matcha café in Da Nang.
